Sandblasting

I have started restoring the frame. I sandblasted the worst part, then primed and painted.

New Toys

I just ordered these Alaska sawmills. I have a lot of alder & maple to thin, so I'm hoping to use that wood as source material for the house.

Initial plans

Started working on massing study and interior layout. My thoughts so far....

Second move

I had the trailer parked at the bottom of the hill, but that was away from power and water which I need to de-rust and paint. So, I hooked up the trailer to my Honda Rubicon 4 wheeler and dragged it up to the field across from my workshop.

How it started

It started with this ad in Craig's List. I bought this 9-1/2' x 26' mobile home frame on 16 Dec 09, brought it home, bought new wheels for it, and returned the old wheels to the original owner, Rob, as a part of our original deal.
